How to Measure for Roman Blinds

For Inside Recess Mount:

Choose inside recess if you want the blind to fit neatly inside the window frame.

Step 1: Measure the inside width of the recess in 3 places: top, middle, and bottom.
Step 2: Use the smallest width measurement.
Step 3: Measure the inside height of the recess in 3 places from top to sill.
Step 4: Use the smallest height measurement.
Step 5: Write these exact measurements in the personalization box as "Inside Recess".

For Outside Recess Mount:

Choose outside recess if you want the blind to hang outside the window frame and overlap the edges.

Step 1: Measure the total width you wish the blind to cover.
Step 2: Measure the height from where you want the blind to start above the window to where you want it to end below the window.
Step 3: Write these exact finished measurements in the personalization box as "Outside Recess".
