Custom Orders & Size Guide

Our curtains and Roman shades are made to order. Check the options on your chosen product before ordering, and give all measurements in either inches or centimeters.

One panel or a pair?

  • Single Panel (1 curtain) means one curtain panel.
  • Pair (2 curtains) means two curtain panels.
  • For curtains, the selected width and height apply to each panel, unless the product description states otherwise.

How to measure curtains

  1. Measure the full curtain rod or track you want to cover, not just the window glass.
  2. Decide whether you need one panel or a pair. For gathered styles, allow extra fabric width for fullness; the amount depends on the header and the look you want.
  3. Measure your desired finished curtain length. The measuring start point depends on the header style. If you are unsure, email us a photo of your rod or track before ordering.

Pleated curtains: please confirm the required finished pleated width with us before ordering. Fabric width and finished pleated width are not always the same.

Ordering a custom size

  1. Select the listed width and height that can accommodate your requested finished measurements. Where your exact size is not listed, choose the next larger available size.
  2. Select the number of panels, header style and lining offered on that product.
  3. Enter your exact finished measurements in the personalization box. State the units and the measurements for each panel.

Example: for two panels measuring 48 inches wide by 82 inches long each, choose a pair in the 50W x 84H inch size, if that option is offered. Enter: “Two panels, each 48 inches wide x 82 inches long.”

If no personalization box is visible, email us before ordering so we can confirm the custom measurements and the correct option to select. For different sizes in the same order, add each required size separately.

50 inches = 127 cm. 100 inches = 254 cm. Not every fabric is available in these widths; follow the options on the individual listing.

Wide panels and seams

Some wide panels are made by joining fabric widths. Check the product description for seam details and contact us before ordering if an uninterrupted pattern or a particular seam position is important to you.

Choosing a header

  • Rod Pocket: the rod passes through a fabric channel.
  • Back Tab: the rod passes through tabs on the back of the curtain.
  • Grommet (Eyelet): the rod passes through rings in the curtain top. Check the listing for ring material, finish and compatibility.
  • Hook Top: hooks attach to heading tape for use with a compatible track or curtain rings.
  • Double Pinch Pleat, Triple Pinch Pleat and Euro Pleat: tailored pleated headers, available only where listed.

Header availability and included hardware vary by product.

Lining choices

Where offered, the choices are Standard, Light Filtering and 100% Blackout, at the same listed price. Standard means the product's standard fabric or lining setup; check its description. Light Filtering softens daylight. Blackout lining provides greater light blocking, although light can still enter around the edges of the installed curtain.

Roman shade measurements

Tell us whether you want an inside-recess or outside-recess mount. For an inside mount, measure the opening at several points and send us the measurements. For an outside mount, measure the full area you want the shade to cover. Do not make fitting deductions without confirming them with us. Check the size range and any seam or hardware notes on the Roman shade listing.
