Our Story

Hi, I’m Soni, founder of The Drape Co. My journey grew from our family’s home-furnishing business in Surat, India. We have worked with mattresses and foam since 1997 and expanded into curtains in 2010.

As I worked more closely with customers, I became fascinated by how the right fabric and fit can change a room. I learned each part of the process hands-on—from choosing fabric and checking measurements to planning custom sizes, stitching, lining, finishing and final delivery.

I created The Drape Co for people who want curtains made for their own windows and style. Every curtain and Roman shade is prepared to order, and I help customers choose the correct size, number of panels, header style and lining before we begin.

Custom ordering can feel confusing, especially when ordering from another country. That is why I believe in honest guidance, clear measurements and direct support. Our products are prepared in Surat and shipped from India to homes internationally.
